1906Gulli Petrini, lärare i naturvetenskapliga ämnen vid Växjö Elementarläroverk för flickor, blir avskedad av domkapitlet i Växjö. Motiveringen var att hennes undervisning med utlärande av Darwins utvecklingslära ansågs vara kristendomsfientlig.
