På YouTube presenterades en utmaning till Discovery Institute om att göra vetenskap av skaparhypotesen som Intelligent Design bygger på. Denna uppmaning verkade polariserande. I svaret från Discovery Institute förklarade man att man inte behöver något bevis, eftersom förändring över tid lika gärna kan betyda gemensam designer som gemensamt ursprung. Helt plötsligt är man inte Intelligent Design-förespråkare längre, utan vanliga simpla kreationister.
