Det är populärt att engagera sig i vetenskap och evolution, och på Facebook finns tusentals unga och äldre som gör uttalanden för vetenskapen som beskrivning av verkligheten, istället för religiösa förklaringar som t.ex. Intelligent Design eller andra kreationistiska falanger. Grupperna på Facebook hittar man under kategorin Science under Common Interest.

Evolution: Education & Outreach, a new quarterly journal from Springer Science and Business Media, will promote accurate understanding and comprehensive teaching of evolution for a wide audience. Targeting K-16 students, teachers and scientists alike, the journal will publish articles to aid members of these communities in the teaching of evolution.
